If there is no future to the printed book, why are many library patrons concerned when libraries downsize their physical collections? John Culshaw, University Librarian, will discuss some of the current issues surrounding the future of books in academic libraries including trends in managing physical collections, changes in the e-book environment, and the need for special collections and archives.
